SUKOŠAN - CROATIA

Sukošan is an attractive little town located in the gulf, 7 km south-east of Zadar.

Coastline and numerous intimate coves, sandy beaches and clear sea bordered with islands which stretch to the National Park, are suitable for a family vacation. Quality accomodation and comfortable camps contribute to Sukošan's image as a tourist center.

It is a place of vineyards, olive groves, lush vegetation and friendly hostes, rich in all the amenities for a pleasant holiday. The town preserved a lot of old architecture and fortification wall which surrounded the place.

In the port there are some ruins of the Zadar's archbishop mansion that protrude from the sea. Sukošan is an ideal destination for all who want immediate contact with nature in combination with sports facilities.

Thanks to the marina 'Dalmacija' Sukošan has become a heaven for  boaters.
